Risk Management is absolutely critical for fleets of all sizes, regardless of whether it’s made up of company drivers or owner operators.

With recent changes in the transportation industry, now more than ever it is critical for Motor Carriers to come up with ways of managing and understanding the patterns and risks existing in operating a fleet.

It is very common for Motor Carriers to have a manual process to evaluate and maintain critical fleet information on drivers and owner operators; monitored by one or several people; and difficult to observe patterns. As we progress into the “Digital World”, we are able utilize technology and integrate systems and procedures to monitor “Real-Time” information to closely observe driver/owner operator behavior.

We see over and over again, that companies adopting this “Real Time” approach are changing the culture of their organization. Once fleet members see that they are being measured consistently and repeatedly, it really changes their approach to driving.
